Our classes are suitable for those with limited dance, singing or acting experience or some form of formal training. Young people who want technical training in major techniques of the performing arts. It is particularly appropriate for those who are studying, or who have studied GCSE, AS/A-Level or BTEC in Dance or Performing Arts.

We offer classes in major dance techniques of ballet, contemporary, jazz & tap.
Some having the opportunity to gain ISTD Intermediate in ballet, tap & modern
(at the discretion of the Principal/Owner)

We will train you in vocal techniques and the anatomy of the voice and strengthen your knowledge and ability.

As so many young people are inappropriately prepared for a professional audition. At Roydon Academy, we will help increasing your standards, advise what you should wear, how to conduct yourself and your audition pieces being set and rehearsed by us.

An accredited board member once told me, ‘If a young person turns up at an audition with a family member or friend, they are instantly declined, as this shows they are not professionally prepared’.

As a former Vice Principal and Programme Leader of a private college, many times I have auditioned young people who chose the wrong song or Inappropriate monologue!
You might think you can choreograph your own dance, but you are auditioning in front of professionals, who are at the top of the profession!

As to help young people progress to a higher level of training, we have made our classes Affordable.
